The EU is frequently criticised for having a lack of democracy and transparency, but which of these claims are actually based on truth? And what aspects could be improved? With the elections of the European Parliament coming up, D66 Enschede organises an event on European democracy.

On this night we will welcome Ramses Wessel (professor of European Law) and Vic van Dijk (candidate member of the EP for D66) to talk about the current state of European democracy and discuss ideas for the future!

Join our discussion this evening!

The event will take place on Tuesday April 23rd at 20.00h (doors open from 19.30h) at the library in Enschede (Bibliotheek Enschede Pijpenstraat). The event will be in English and is free of charge (also to non-D66 members).
