Update: The motto of this educational discussion round will be “Being scared of failure: learning in institutions”. We have two prompts provided and want to share knowledge and perspectives on failing and on being punished for making mistakes, although mistakes can be a useful learning experience.

Are you satisfied with the current educational system? Why or why not and what would you change for what reason?
Join us for starting a discussion outside the classroom in a nice atmosphere with other educationalists!

Since discussions and exchange of opinions are rather rare in our courses, we would like to shift discussions with you to after class. This is how it works:

We prompt you with a controversial statement about education in form of a short quote, a ted-talk video, a newspaper article, a statement of a leading educationalist or politician, a blogpost, or whatever comes to mind and what is discussable.

You join our discussion, share your thoughts, opinions, background knowledge and arguments.

If you have a particular topic that you want to talk or are curious about, let us know! In that case we would love to arrange the prompt together with you as it is always great to have new input.

And of course you shall not miss drinks and snacks.

Sign up, if your interested about what others know and share on education!

Cheers,

the Komma Board
